Monday Classes

Monday classes begin on February 15th and run through April 19th.

Super Star Storytime (Preschool Creative Drama, Music and movement)

Super-Star Storytime Adventures is an interactive play-based program that fosters a joy for creative expression in a group setting. We combine Music, Arts and Crafts and Theatre into a magical mix of awesomeness. Our age-appropriate “Play” approach is relaxed setting where kids can share and create together in a way that sets them up for success in all areas of endeavors. We learn basic music and theatre skills and make our own props. We also learn the amazing value and growth potential available within and ensemble. Super-Star Storytime Adventures is a place where imaginations soar and freedom and fun abound. Class size is limited to 10.

Tuesday Classes

Tuesday classes begin February 16th and run through April 20th

Anyone Can Act –A beginner’s course in acting

Theater is more than just song and dance. In fact, you don’t have to sing or dance to be on stage. Explore the side of theater that is just about the acting and have fun as we show you how anyone an act. Learn the basic techniques of acting through games, improvisation and character development. Create and motivate characters through your own interpretation and discover that the stage is the place for you! Class size is limited to 12.

Wednesday classes begin on February 17th and run through April 21

The Original One Act Play

This original one act play combines some of Grimm’s best loved fairytales and characters together into a wonderful new tale that will delight all ages. Class size is limited to 12.

TV/Commercial Acting for Kids! -Special 6-week Workshop

This workshop begins February 24th and ends March 31st

Think you’d be good in commercials? Want to act on TV? Let us teach you how to work with the camera to give a performance that comes across on the screen. Students will learn commercial and TV acting techniques through monologues and scenes and will leave class with a reel of their work suitable to show to casting directors. Class size is limited to 12.

Friday Classes

Friday Classes begin Friday February 5th- April 18th (see specific show dates below).

The Mainstream Musical Project: Disney’s Alice and Wonderland JR

Join Alice’s madcap adventures in Wonderland as she chases the White Rabbit, races the Dodo Bird, gets tied up with the Tweedles, raps with a bubble-blowing Caterpillar, and beats the Queen of Hearts at her own game! Roles are plentiful, including three Cheshire Cats and dozens of other wonderfully wacky characters. This fast-paced stage adaptation of Alice in Wonderland features updated dialogue and new arrangements of such classic Disney songs as “I’m Late,” “The Un-birthday Song” and “Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah.”

This productions is directed by ACT Executive Director, Talena Martinez and choreographed for ACT by Adam Roberts.

The show runs for one weekend only, April 16-18th.

This program has 5 Saturday rehearsals on February 13th and 27th, March 13th and 27th, and April 10th. For a full rehearsal and tech schedule please email us and we’ll be happy to send it to you.

If you can not make the audition workshop, we would be happy to schedule a private audition. Please don’t hesitate to ask us about this option!

Saturday Classes

Saturday Classes begin Saturday 20th and run through April 24.

“Once upon a time” – Creative Drama through Storytelling

Once beyond a story…beyond a time…there were just people – Characters that made stories come to life! Bring your imagination and energy to create your favorite characters like the hero, villain, or anyone in-between! We will create whole new stories where you decide what will happen next as you learn the art of storytelling through hands-on art projects, movement and basic theater skills. You are the storyteller of this great tale! Let your imagination run the show as you and your classmates bring these original stories to life onstage in a final performance. Each student will finish the class with new friends, cherished memories of the many adventures they took and a bound book of the art-work and stories they wrote. Class size is limited to 12.
