One Week Summer Camps (M-F 9am-5pm)
This summer ACT camps will explore six aspects of theatre each inspired by a weekly theme. Campers will embark on a creative journey into the realm of theatre using each theme to spark the imagination. ACT nurtures camper’s individual talents as they collaborate in a group setting with students of a similar age. Each weekly camp culminates with a performance, leaving the students with a final work of art to share with family and friends, and a sense of pride that will last a lifetime.
The camps are taught by talented teaching artists who introduce a wide array of specific skills. The camps also include a special performance each week by working professional artists in theatre. At ACT we strive to teach valuable life skills that can be used in all areas of life, not just theatre.

Star of the Screen
- Learn the differences between stage acting and film acting
- Learn how to create and develop characters
- Understand plot structure through creating stories and scenes
- Work on playable action and movement
- Create TV programs and film productions
- Receive a DVD copy of your final production
- No more than 15 students per group, grouped according to age
TC-SS Session 1: June 23-27
TC-SS Session 2: August 11-15
Theatre Camps (ages 5-12 in small groups of similar ages)
- Introduces students to the theatre arts
- Play Theatre Games
- Create scenes and characters
- Explore Stage Movement techniques including dancing, stunts, stage-combat, stage action
- Includes Final Performance for friends and family
- Includes a weekly performance by industry professionals
- Each camp targets a different aspect of theatre
- No more than 15 students per group, grouped according to age
